The Goat Man Riseth Like a Phoenix

From the Ashes of Modernity...

It's been awhile since we've had a post here on the blog, and I could make up some excuse like I've been really busy, but I haven't been that busy, no more than usual for this time of year. Another excuse is that the Internet has been pretty slow here recently, but I sort of enjoy that… more time to do other more fulfilling things like reading and gardening. As I get older I become more nostalgic for the old Internet. It was less corporate.

The honest truth is, often for some period of time, I am so disconnected from the world outside this farm that I really have nothing to say about the world outside this farm & I am just content not writing about it. Then again, I occasionally talk to people off the farm and they bring to me such silly things about what is happening in the outside world that it makes me want to write about the silliness of it. I'll have more coming this week.

In the meantime here are some Farm related items from the last few weeks.

The baby goats are growing fast. We will wean the boys in the coming weeks…

We got a Rooster last year, so our Hens started hatching some Chicks.

We have various gardening projects we are working on.

Starting seeds indoors…

Celery we have been eating the last few months…

Green Beans for the Summer

Zucchini for the Summer

Also the Buttons from a Rattle Snake we killed recently…

Life is happy on the farm…
