A poem

All that life had to give...

I took it,

And I never looked back.

Each moment led to the other...

Each mistake

Each triumph

The things which I doubted so many times...

Each of them led me to this...

Even the desires which led me astray...

They are the same which brought me home...

I never once envisioned life could be so harmonious

After such a fall from pride...

So many times I had chosen the wrong road to descend

But in the end

Redemption was just over the next hill...

From the darkness...

Into the light...

Out in the Savannah a new life is borne...
