How to be a Man: Nomad or Farmer.

Welcome to Rumspringa RV boot-camp.

I would make the world's worst guidance counselor. But then again if you really need some particular type of life coaching, I might be just exactly your kind of man.

In today's dystopian world I see two possible fulfilling outcomes for your average man. The life of the Nomad or the life of the Farmer. In keeping with the modern technological-mantras of Silicon Valley (How could those geeks go wrong?) Here is where boot-camp comes in. In our unique boot-camp you too will decide very quickly which path you will "fail-fast and hard" within.

So here's my boot-camp scenario. When a young man is old enough and thinks that he needs to face the modern world and figure out what he wants to do with it, this is when he enters the "Rumspringa RV boot-camp."

First Step:
You find whatever shabby RV or camper you can afford. Even a minivan or van will do, or for the extremely woke that perhaps stumble upon this blog, a Prius.

For the next year or more, depending on which track you would like to take at the end of the first year, you live a meager existence. You travel, just you and the RV, and you face the world and figure out what you'd like to do with it. You see what the world has to offer. It's brilliant Sea-lines, it's ravenous Mountain-scapes, it's high-Deserts and deep-Grasslands. You work a little here & there to keep you going on your journey. This is your RV Rumpsringa.

During this time it is worth stopping at a few hot springs and pondering life a bit because at the end of this journey you will have to make a difficult choice. Do you want to continue living the life of the Nomad? Or do you want to join the second phase of our program called: Farm & Toil boot-camp.

If you decide to enroll in this second part you are directed to one of our local network farms where you will conduct hard backbreaking work for many many hours a day, but you will be paid fairly handsomely for your services ($15-18 an hour, depending on how good you are at learning and working) and in this second boot-camp, you too can earn some savings so you can go off and start your own farm when you are ready. Or you can revert back to the life of the Nomad.

This is the summary of the Rumspringa RV boot-camp. Where you decide whether you want to be a Nomad or a Farmer. Where you decide what it takes to be a man.
